received his masters from the University of Buenos Aires, and went on to study in Zurich, Switzerland. Alejandro is a Registered Architect (RA) in Argentina and holds SIA accreditation (Société Suisse des Ingénieurs et
des Architectes,
Society of Engineers and Architects, Switzerland and European Union).
Alejandro practiced architecture in Geneva and Zurich, Switzerland, before moving to the US and joining
Greenberg/Farrow in New York as a Project Architect. There, he specialized in mixed-use projects
around the US and in Dubai. In 2009, Alejandro joined Ali Tayar's Parallel Design where he has been
working on high end residential projects in Manhattan and Beirut, Lebanon; as well as heading a furniture development project for a global manufacturer in Bern, Switzerland.
was born and raised in NYC. He received his undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado in 2005. After college, James studied traditional furniture making at The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine as one of 12 students in a 9 month comprehensive program. After Maine, James moved to Brooklyn and worked as a fabricator for MADE LLC – a high- end architecture design / build firm. In 2007, James started his own design / build company out of a small space in Red Hook, Brooklyn. As his business expanded, he moved into a larger shop space in South Park Slope where he works today designing and fabricating custom furniture, cabinetry and architectural Alejandro and James teamed up in 2010 to prototype a line of well-designed, high-end, custom baby furniture, inspired by They were motivated by a shared desire to contribute to what they considered a creatively lacking market.
